"DONT BUY-the net can come OFF, on bb's mouth!!" 2009-08-13
By Tan Koon (KL, Malaysia)
after using it for only 3 times, I already found that the blue net material comes off in small particles, and I found these particles on my bb's lips!! How scary. I hope to alert other mummies of such dangerous product. I wish to return this product as well, I don't want an exchange as I find it too scary, what if bb eat it into stomach? Or already got into bb's stomach now.

"Found cleaning solution from other review" 2008-10-07

If it wasn't for another person's review and cleaning solution I would have given this only 3 stars! I am disappointed to find there are no replacement bags for this. It is a fantastic product and I will be buying more to give away as gifts! With the following information of course (I found an easy way to clean the mesh part that I would like to share with every one. First- remove any large pieces of pulp or food left inside- don't worry about scrubbing it out or removing all the food. Second- mix 1/4 a scoop of an oxi-clean type cleaner with hot water in glass cup. Third- put the mesh bag in the glass- ring side up (you can hold it down with a spoon). Wait about 10 minutes. Pull the mesh bag out- rinse and clean with regular dish washing soap. Air dry. Mesh bag comes out sparkling white (so will your glasses if you have hard water stains!). The food simply disolves. Works really well with bananas!!!! No more brown colored mesh. No more time spent trying to pull small bits of food out from the mesh edges or from around the ring. )

 "Good overall product" 2008-06-22
By Amanda Budnik (Fort Pierce, FL, USA)
Once she got the hang of how it works, my daughter loves the fresh food feeder. It allows her to feed herself and teaches her hand eye coordination. The only down side is it is quite hard to clean. The little crevises inside the mesh bag are hard to get to. cleaning it takes up to 10 minutes sometimes just to make sure all the food is out of it. overall, I think it's a wonderful idea and safe for my daughter to use.

 "Great for teething..." 2007-12-06
By Jessica Carstensen (Central FL)
As a speech language pathologist I knew about these feeders long before I had a child of my own. My daughter has loved sucking and chewing on frozen fruit to ease her teething pain. I have to admit these are extremely difficult to clean and like another reviewer I tried banana first... what a nightmare to wash! On all of my subsequent trials I used frozen fruit (melon, strawberries, and peaches. The frozen fruit tended to make less of a mess and it was hilarious to watch my daughter cring at the cold and then go back for more (kinda like watching you lil' one devour a wedge of lemon). I personally liked the feeder, but definitely pay attention when cleaning it!

 "never had a problem" 2007-06-19
By M. Klassen
My 6 month old loves food, but only if she can feed herself. I freeze baby food and put the cubes in this product, we've also had watermelon, cantaloupe, bananas, crackers, potato... pretty much anything that will fit in the pouch! I have never had a problem cleaning it. I even got it as a hand me down from a friend! I don't put it in the dishwasher cause it does catch every little thing that flies around in there. But hand washing/boiling, I've always been able to get it clean. Love it!
