"11 month old loves them" 2009-12-08
By Living in Mommyland (New Jersey)
I'm not sure why previous reviewers have said that their children couldn't eat these because they were too hard. My 11 month old doesn't have any molars and he eats them two at a time, and loves them!!! I tasted them and they are rather tasteless, but if my kid likes them, who cares!

I purchased these on a whim at the supermarket when my son was 10 months because I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of sugar in it. Also, it's organic and contains all whole grains.

"Very Hard, Don't try as finger food for those without Molars" 2009-10-04

I saw these in store and picked one up to try, I didn't see any obvious suggested age on the packaging so I thought they would be a healthy finger food for my toddler but they turned out to be really hard (even after soaking in milk for a minute or more they were still hard!). I don't think these are suitable for kids without molars to grind them down OR toddlers who are good at mashing things up with their gums. They are a size of about a small grape so perfect as a chocking hazard. So before buying the twelve pack try one from stores like whole foods.

These are good enough, not too flavorful. But watch out, they are hard, really hard. They are back on the shelf in our house until my daughter gets some molars. Too bad, I was looking for some finger food options for my GFCF allergic child.

My child loves these more than rice puffs or rice crackers. Low salt/low sugar snack. Corn/oatmeal snack.

Tried a box of these for my one-year-old. Fun shape, and a good size for little hands. However, they have a taste like puffed cardboard, and after the first few chomps my little guy is not too interested. He'd rather eat something else.
